No O rings.
I ran it hard with my camper and opened the degas bottle right after and very little pressure.

why are the HG broken after an EGR delete? what does that have to do with it?
A ruptured EGR cooler is often the root problem of head gasket failure. Deleting the EGR eliminates that possible reason for blowing gaskets however these engines can still be prone to failure unless other actions are taken(studs, o-rings, checking head flatness and machining if necessary, etc..). Deleting the EGR is no guarantee against future problems.

In the post you quoted, he was replying to someone who had heard that deleting his EGR was all he needed to do to avoid stretched head bolts. He was not trying to say that an EGR delete caused a head gasket failure, he was only sharing his own personal experience that you can still have a head gasket failure after deleting.
