My buddy wants to get a new ruck but cant decide between a 6.0 or 7.3 if you would give me you input for him it would be great. i have a 2001 7.3 and love it but hes iffy about the 6.0. Advice and reasons why you like what you do. thanks:icon_ford:

i think it will depend on what you are gonna use your truck for. the 7.3 is a work horse plain and simple not a huge power maker but reliable as your gonna get. 6.0 makes good power and has the 5speed. they are hit and miss if you are gonna have any problems. i am one of the lucky ones. and depending on how problamatic it is will depend on if you are gonna like a 6.0. i love my 6.0 only thing i would trade it for is a 6.4.
