So I’ve been reading about deleted EGRs causing problems with electronic fan clutches, and assumed that’s what was going on with mine. Until I found this today…
I kept seeing the connector plugged in the fan shroud, but today I saw that under the shroud, the wires were all tore up, and the fan clutch had the other end hanging from it.
Guess I’ll be doing the 7.3 fan clutch upgrade. That should mean I don’t need the EGR valve just to plug in, correct?
