Hello all ...new to this forum , I purchased an 07 f-350 w/58000 miles. This is 1 sharp truck , but about a month ago I threw a code , said it was a glow plug, got that fixed , then I had a hards cranking issue..... bad dummy plug , THEN overheated..... new oil cooler....STILL overheated , now I am told new head gaskets!!!...all under warranty at 84000 miles. My warranty runs out Sept.13th , I have an extended warranty in place. I was told by the mechanic to get ARP studs , that's done (wow they r in short supply!!! found mine in south dakota , I have the # if anyone is interested) he is also bipassing the egr , what OTHER problems can I look forward too? Also I did find out after the fact that this truck had new head gaskets at 20,000 miles and also a new egr and I believe a new oil cooler.....seems this is a common problem and Ford should do something about it.
