Hey guys hoping someone could answer my questions here? few months ago i traded my 7.3 for a 6.0 and i just bought a sct tuner for my 6.0 last week. Now the problem is, is that the truck sat for 2 days and before i started it and the eot reads 80 degs when is been below 40 degs outside. Now my ect reads pretty close to outside temp and after the truck is running my ECT reads 185 give or take a few and my EOT reads 225 which is a 40 difference. now if i take the orignal temps there 40 off before i started the truck. I have the EOT set to Ferinhiet. Now does any one else have this problem? is it my truck? or my tuner? :dunno:

I would get a new temp sensor, located:

They are inexpensive online. I think Tousley ford has the best prices.

search for "temp sending unit"

Electrical > chassis electrical > senders > temp sending unit

I don't know about the SCT but the SG2 reads the temp when it was shut down the last time until it updates after its started, /good luck. Coach.
