Just curious, but what would the "OH $H!T" temp be for the Engine Coolant on my F250?
This past weekend I had 2 times when my truck hit 200* and held there for a couple of minutes, and today she hit 204* and held there for about 5 mins going up a decent grade. It was about 90 degrees over the weekend, and it was 88* this morning. Wasn't really going that fast either.
Thanks.

I don't know what temp you should start getting worried, but I have heard of people putting 208 thermastat in their rigs.

those temps are fine. I know in a lot of newer cars even, the cooling fans don't kick on until 220*F and they have 195*F Tstats. Over 220 ish get worried b/c something might not be right.

Yep, people put 203 degree T-stats in so I wouldn't be concerned about that. Like said above if it hit 220 you might want to ease up on it a bit and see if it comes back down. Synthetic oil handles heat better and may help lower the temp a little too.
