I performed a search on this subject and couldn't find a clear answer. I want to know if I would be sacrificing towing capabilities with 3.73 gears. I am thinking of trading my current 2WD dually with 4.10 gears in for a 4x4 dually with 3.73 gears. What would the upside and downside be? Both vehicles will be 08's. Thanks for your advice in advance.

you will get better fuel mileage out of the 3:73, and you can pull with them as well, but the 4:10 gears are much better for heavy, continual pulling.
