19 F250 6.7 powerstroke. Deleted and tuned. I love this truck and plan on keeping it for a long time. I just wanted to hear what y’all’s favorite upgrades/mods you did and liked after the delete that had performance pros. I’m also looking to make to truck look better, so any appearance upgrades/mods are welcome too. Show me some pics of what you guys have. I like to see others stick out and shine in the Ford forum. Thanks in advance

Can I ask (I’m new to Diesels) what the cost is to delete?
My buddy’s a huge Diesel guy and hes said to most definitely delete. I just bought the truck (2019 w/ 6900 miles) 2 weeks ago, but I’m thinking a delete is in my future. I don’t plan on selling this truck and will hopefully have this for the remaining of my days.

Besides finding someone who will do the job, are there kits that sell the tuner, pipes etc, or is this something I’ll have to buy separately?

If you look hard enough you'll find them....EPA cracked down on a lot of tuning companies and shops that sold delete parts. And it depends what you want, I paid just about $1k for the tuner, 4 tunes and delete pipe, but you can spend easily $1200 on just a tuner (ez lynk) so it's all what you want.

Well you need an EGR delete or block off plates to complete it. My truck was great deleted, I no longer have it. The power is ridiculous, never really bothered to measure MPG, it's a truck, that doesn't bother me. If I cared about MPG I'd be driving a 4 cyl. Realistically you would probably gain a few MPG's since there would be no regen, but you'll probably be in the gas more just because it's fun.

The guy I bought mine from spent $2300 or so for the delete/ tune, EGR block off and pipe. Added the factory tip back on just so it would look normal.
I’m getting a solid 18MPG around town and never adding DEF again
He’s claiming 200 extra HP but I have my doubts, y’all’s thoughts?

Thanks for the reply’s! I just watched a few videos of the delete process this afternoon and I just may do it. It’s definitely pricey, but a free’r breathing diesel would be great! My truck stock is already a strong puller, and the thought of it being unrestricted sounds exciting. Lol.

If it's set to the highest tune it'll be + 200 HP or some similar. I'm running Cale's Extreme tune that's +200 HP. Is your mpg going off the dash or hand calc?

That’s what the dash says. Oddly enough the tow safe mode(#1)has the worst MPG and on the highest setting (#5) I’ve seen 20MPG on the highway and lots of coal rolling out back. Can anyone explain this?

I believe the higher level tunes command more injection timing leading to more smoke if you get on it. Are you driving in a conservative manner and the truck smokes or does it only happen if you mash on the pedal?

Forgot to mention, if the truck is tuned the lie-o-meter can be significantly off. Post tuning, my Trip Meter mpg would be anywhere from 2-3 mpg higher than my hand calc.

Not to hijack the thread but I’m pretty conservative on the throttle. It’s not until it loads up a little, ie. climbing up hill at around 35-45 MPH in a higher gear when I mash it and it kicks down a gear and the smoke rolls. (One sure fire way to keep others off your bumper!)
