I have a 2017 f250 xlt 6.7l with about 45k on the clock. The problem happens On the highway usually above 55 when the tranny is locked in 6th gear. When going over a substantial bump the tourqe converter unlocks and the rpms shoot up then after a second or two re locks. Seems to occur intermittently and only on sever bumps. If anyone has any input I'd be appreciated.

Going to get it to a dealer soon but not sure if it will be covered and honestly would rather they not touch my truck.

SO did you figure it out.. Sounds like the "bump" was causing you to press on pedal and then get off the gas causing the TQ to unlock and then relock would be my guess.. :)

Yep that was it! driver error finally noticed lol. Honestly think it was to sensitive, because I've since had the truck tuned along with the transmission and have never had the problem again.
