I had a cracked LPFP, installed a new one my self and have a whine. Brought It to Ford and they said they sold me a faulty LPFP, so they installed a new one. Got the truck home and it’s making the same noise. Bottom filter is to the stop snd connections are tight up top. Not sure how to post a video on here.

Do the air purge at least 6 times, then another 6....if the noise doesn't change the way it sounds during all those there's a problem.

I have had the dreaded fuel system whine and turned out to be a defective upper fuel filter. All connections were tight and correct and it still made the noise. I changed the upper fuel filter and the noise instantly went away.

Key on / Engine off.
Wait 30 seconds until LPFP stops.
Key off.
Repeat 6-10 times.

Yeah, it’s been making this noise for 3 months or so. If I cycle the key once snd don’t start snd cycle It again It doesn’t make the noise. As soon as I start It and try It again It does It. Thinking it’s the regulator on the fuel rail

You need to do the cycle many times in a row to get all the air out.
