Can anyone tell on a 2014 powerstroke what the three plug ins on the ecm do? I deleted my pickup the other day and the instructions said to remove the ecm for removal of the egr cooler, which i did, but think that is not necessary. Anyway i'm throwing a 132a code and the only symptom i have is a sluggish throttle response but runs fine once turbo boost comes up. No codes before the delete and ran fine, so i suspect a bad electrical connection. It has had the dpf delete done before i got the pickup and has an sctx4 tuner. The 3 ecm connectors was all that was undone.TIA

P132B is for boost control... or lack thereof. Since you were just destroying the remnants of your emissions control, you might first, check that the turbocharger actuator is connected, MAP sensor is functioning correctly, the EBP sensor and its tube are secure and tight and that there are no intake or exhaust leaks. Then again, when we perform abortions on trucks and use non-OEM programming nothing is out of the question. Look over your work making sure everything is installed, plugged in and there are no loose fasteners before beating your skull against the wall.

And yes, the PCM does not need to be removed to remove the EGR cooler and valve assembly... neither do the intake manifolds.

There have been a few posts recently about similar issues that magically cured themselves after driving for a few days. How long has it been and how many miles have you put on it?

I guess I had great luck when deleting my truck. I had zero issues afterwards and have gone over 100,000 miles without any issues.

Hope you get it figured out, man.

Haven;t put probably over 2 hundred miles on it since the delete and it has been running better since the first time after the delete. I was going to pull the connectors off the ecm to see if there might be a problem when i reconnected them after doing the delete. I was hoping someeone could tell which of the 3 plugs has to do with the vgt actuator. It runs like my 02 7.3 doesn,t want to boost up until the rpms get around 1800 then takes off. I have deleted the code and it doesn't come back until i shut off and restart. I'm thinkig the vgt controller isn't getting a signal
