Might help to know what they are planning to do... Do they want to buy it or use it as a guinea pig? If the latter do they plan to reimburse the owner for any damages or issues that arise? Going to need a bit more to go off of.

Yes...this all sounds so mysterious. But you know what? I've met a few of the K&N guys in Vegas and they're good people. What are you looking to do Ken? (Not that I have the vehicle you're looking for, nor am I in Cali). You've certainly peaked my interest!
