2005 Ford F350 XLT, 57k original miles, short bed, 4x4, gooseneck hitch, bulletproofed 6.0 powerstroke diesel, clean title in hand, CTS2 Pro with 5 custom tunes
I’m the 2nd owner that bought the truck from my father-in-law who purchased it new in 2005. I bought it from him ~3 years ago with only 24k miles. He basically drove it to Sturgis a few times and took his 5th wheel out camping…other than that, it was a garage queen.
The interior is in pristine, showroom condition. Everything is original with the exception of the upgraded touch screen stereo (still have the stock stereo with factory plastic on the screen…yes, that’s how well this truck has been cared for) and the Edge CTS2 pro. I also put Coverking wetsuit seat covers on the day I purchased it to keep the original seats in showroom condition
The exterior is in excellent condition, 2” leveling kit with upgraded Bilstein 5100 shocks, B&W gooseneck hitch, FX4 off-road and camper packages, spray-in bedliner, engine block heater
I follow a strict, regimented, and systematic maintenance schedule. Here are the highlights: oil changes every 5k with Rotella T6 and Archoil AR9100, external bypass oil filter changed on last oil change, S&B air filter cleaned and oiled every 5k miles, both fuel filters changed every 10k miles, EGR valve cleaned every 10k miles, external coolant filter changed every 5k miles, transmission fluid changed every 30k miles, coolant changed to Rotella ELC at 30k miles, tires rotated every 5k miles, front differential oil change at 47k miles
Now the fun part…bulletproofing and performance upgrades. Everything you would want done to a 6.0 has been completed. Upgraded standpipes, dummy plugs, STC fitting, FICM, PPE oil cooler, BPD water pump, o-ring cylinder heads, ARP head studs, tig-welded EGR cooler, Sinister Diesel blue spring fuel kit, upgraded ’08 transmission pan, and literally every gasket from the heads up has been changed
At the same time I had the bulletproofing work done, I spent a few dollars on some “go-fast” parts including 61mm 10-blade turbo machined, chromoly pushrods, high-flow up-pipes, high-flow exhaust manifold with EGT probe, S&B air filter, 4” exhaust, and an Edge CTS2 monitor with 5 custom tunes
