My truck started doing something weird the other day.... start it, let it warm up a bit. Take it for drive. If I hammer on it, it builds boost normal and hauls *** till last shift or shortly after then boost drops to 15-20lbs and truck feels like it’s falling on its face. No tuner. So far I’ve cleaned the egr valve(not dirty) and replaced both fuel filters and checked all intercooler boots. Everything seems fine. Truck starts good every time. Isles great. Runs good under half throttle after it has its issue... seems like if I turn truck off for a few min and start it again the process repeats. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!!!!

Just past speed limit. Nowhere near limiter

Have you checked the cold side plastic pipe for separation or cracks, the intercooler and up pipes are something else to check

I should add to post that my speedometer has quit. Going to replace speed sensor. I’ve taken off back pressure sensor and cleaning that atm

Just replaced speed sensor in diff. Abs light turned off but speedo is still at 0. Would this cause truck to go innlimp mode? Could explain my issue? Is there another sensor for speedo? Or fuse or anything I don’t know about? Does this on two different clusters too I should add

Any DTC's? Are you monitoring with anything where you can post some PID numbers?

No monitor that does anything lol. No codes on my Bluetooth reader. No speedo and after quick hard acceleration it loses tons of power until next time truck is ran

Need some PID values so we can see what the heck the truck's doing (or trying to do).

Never experienced any thing like this. So weird. Just drive it. Floored it till i was moving around 120km/hr then it dropped power... pulled over. Turned truck off and started it and it hauled *** again. If I don’t restart truck it’s very gutless.

EBP sensor ? I was experiencing something similiar. I replaced the IPR sensor , still had the issue , replaced EGR valve , a little better but still could power loss , replaced EBP sensor and so far we're good.

I would add that I run CTS edge and at the same time I was losing power the engine was logging a 80 to 99% load, when I hit the throttle the engine would hesitate until it could drop back down to the power band.

My "new" '06 does this same thing occasionally -- when it does this the light on the cluster comes on
I have not checked for codes yet with ForScan, but I am sure something is afoot
The truck has a Livewire+ and EBP is hitting over 100 psi at times, ...so, yeah may be a hint there

Scanned it with a professional machine today. Came up as her valve value too high so swapped it out. Code disappeared. Problem did not. Only 2 codes. Egr(fixed) and vss sensor(not fixed) still huge power loss under hard throttle. Everything else was well within range

Need to get a monitor and watch things when the truck stumbles. To start, watch IPR, ICPv, ICP, FICMv, VGT%, MAP, EBP, Fuel Pressure (will need aftermarket gauge for this). This list will grow longer once you start eliminating things.

When's the last time your fuel filters were changed? Oil & filters?

Ficm was 49.5-50. Oil and fuel filters replaced this week. Water trap drained. Replaced egr valve. Tried vgt valve from a different turbo which made prob worse lol. Gonna try a different vgt tomo. Still just falling on its face after 2 min driving. Vgt today was suspect off a dead turbo but just wanted to see if it made a difference.... just floated around but still fell on its face

Tried running with icp disconnected... no difference... ipr is clean. No misfire revorded on any cylinder.
