Hey guys, just looking for some help with my truck. I have a 2005 F-350 CCSB with 227k easy driven miles.(was my dads truck for last 10 yrs)
Recently I developed a little bit of a shake/ shudder from a stop. I replaced the front u-joint at the xfer case, hanger bearing is good, slip joint is free and all u-joints have no play. What could this be?????
Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

The rear joint is usually the one that fails -- may not be loose, likely dry and binding.

Your sure it is in the driveline and not the engine?

Engine has a new set of injectors and new oil cooler, so I assume it is not that. The rear joint has a VERY small amount of play but I don’t think that would be enough to make the truck shake? I grease them every oil change
