I have a 2004 Ford F-250 6.0 as of yesterday it ran fine, however today I started it using a jump box since the battery dies due to it being in the shop for the last 2 months after being in a crash...Anyway it started fine today and I let it run while I went down the road and when I got back it was off. I started it back up later on and it ran like a old tractor (put, put, puting along) I tried pressing the accelerator and it really wouldn't react at all the after a few minutes of running it started putting out puffs of black smoke and when I put it in gear it choked off and wouldn't start back. I did notice the fuel light was on but it said that it had 19 miles to empty...any suggestions? :dunno:

Sounds like low fuel/ no fuel. Get some Fuel in that tank. Those miles to empty can lie.

Also, get some good batteries. Junk or weak batteries will kill the FICM & then that'll kill injectors. Low fuel pressures will also kill injectors.
