2004 Excursion Limited 4x4--SOLD
SOLD.Got most of her issues worked out, and now I need to sell. I need the cash for the start up costs for my practice.
2004 Excursion Limited 4x4, 137,xxx miles, Pueblo Gold Metallic Paint, Medium Parchment leather interior, seat warmers, 2nd and 3rd row bench seats, DVD player, Rear A/C and heat, 6 disc in dash CD, Husky floor mats, backup sensors, power adj pedals, memory seats, "push button" 4x4.
The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly.
Good: The interior of this vehicle is pristine, slight wear on the drivers seat. The vast majority of these miles were highway miles. The HPOP, the EGR valve, and oil cooler were all replaced within the last 10,000 miles. Between those three the most common 6.0L issues are resolved for another 120K miles. Two new batteries and brakes on all four corners done a year ago. OASIS report was relatively clear with a couple recall issues taken care of--no head gaskets or other major repairs. She's a pulling sonofagun.
Bad: The turbo lags more than it should, either the VGT solenoid is bad, or the turbo vanes are coked. I've allowed for worst case scenario in my pricing.
Ugly: One door ding on the driverside door, and a scuff on the driverside front bumper corner both from the previous owner. The rear cargo carpet has a stain from the previous owner that I couldn't get out.
For those on this site I'll cut you a deal on the mod's I've purchased but yet to have installed: SCT X3 w/ 3 custom tunes from DJ's, Isspro boost and pyro gauges, two gauge a-pillar pod, and Farmboy's Diesel 4" turbo back exhaust with a 5" tip: $1100 worth of brand new upgrades waiting to be installed, I'll sell them with the Ex for $750 above the sales price.
If you're coming in from out of town I'd be happy to pick you up at either DFW International or Lovefield.
Let's move her out at $19,250, $600 less than KBB "good" pricing, and personally I think she's better than "good". New Price: $18,000
Here's a couple pics of the outside, I'll be adding interior and blemish shots tomorrow.
