I keep getting a cylinder 5 contribution/balance code that will come right back as soon as I clear it. But if I turn the truck off, clear the code, and turn it right back on it won't come back for the rest of the drive. The idle is a little rough when I have the code but not too bad and runs perfectly after I restart it.
The injectors have about 20,000 miles on them, 48-49 volts from the FICM, 60 PSI fuel pressure, the batteries and alternator are both fairly new, and I didn't see any chafing of the injector harness.
To me, it seems like a problem in the logic side of the FICM but I wanted to see if anyone here had any ideas of what it could be.
