I recently acquired a 2003 6.0 power stroke and I was wondering which exhaust set up would have the most whistle?? 4 inch straight pipe or 5 (both no cat or muffler)

Exhaust size won't matter for the whistle. Unless you order certain brands the down pipe is 3.5 anyway and then the rest is either 4 or 5. As long as you have the whistling turbo it'll whistle.

I put a straight 4 inch exhaust from the turbo back, and my truck whistles great! It has the stock turbo on, and it really sounds great, my wife says it sounds like a jet plane!

I heard a 4" next to 5" once - wasn't an 03-04 though. Not sure "louder" is the correct term. Maybe throatier or it has a deeper note.
