My buddie started out by just changing the U-joints in his 2000 F 350 super duty 4&4 Powerstroke diesel. He broke off a bolt in the yoke. Then, calls me and says what now?
So, I drilled, heat and tryed getting it out with an easy-out not having sucsess I decided it would be easier working on the yoke in the vise. So, we took the nut off the inside of the yoke and started beating on the yoke, didn't come off. Then tryed a home made puller that wasn't big enought still could get the yoke off. Decided to put back together and now we have a little front to back play.

What next??? Did I beat a bearing out in the front near the yoke and seal?? Pull a inner race out of a bearing on the pinion side or just need to tighten the yoke nut on more to reduce the play???
