Thank you for that perspective. Sometimes I don't realize how things come across to others. I did spend A LOT of time working on this truck. I did take out the back seat and have a bed built in the back. I did make it possible to connect an extension cord and have A/C power inside. I started on my first trip as an owner operator, and coming into Atlanta the transmission started acting crazy. I flew back home and borrowed a friends truck to make my delivery to Wisconsin. I realized on that trip that an F250 is not strong enough to pull a load in the mountains and I also learned I don't want to live in a pickup truck. It's too much like camping. I couldn't rest on my bed during the day because it was piled high with stuff.

I took pictures along the way while doing the work, but I didn't post them, for whatever reason. I guess they weren't handy when I was doing the ad, or I didn't realize how important they were. I ended up removing almost all my modifications, taking the truck back to stock, and giving it away for about 6k.

In the first picture in the driver's side rear window you can see the customized air conditioning vent system installed in order to run an air conditioner (Zero Breeze Mark II) without idling all night.

Yes, this one is sold. But I have another truck to sell, this time a 2003 F250 4x4. My mechanic just put another computer in it, so it's running good again. After getting my CDL I've been driving big trucks away from home, and my Ford truck has just been sitting. I got no response on this forum with the last truck. I'm just now trying to figure out how much I can get for the other truck. Everybody wanted 4x4 last time, and this truck has it. I didn't want to sell it, because it's fun to drive and who doesn't want to own a truck, but I'm afraid it's going to deteriorate if it just sits.

Is it okay to post a link to a Facebook listing? I just read through the rules and I don't see any explicit ban on posting such links. Now that the truck is fixed, I reactivated an old Facebook Marketplace ad. I'm looking for opinions on current market conditions. I remember at one point there were supply chain issues and the price of trucks was really high. I think that went away already, but I also saw that Ford truck prices are still high.
