My 1999 250 Super Duty has a 2.5 amp. battery drain when shut down.
Sounds like a woodpecker in my fuse block inside cab. Test light between
- battery and neg. cable lights and dims at same rate as sound in cab.
Pulled 50 amp. fuse from position 22 under hood, and light goes out, no drain.
Any ideas?

weak batteries can cause very similiar problem, the relays will click like your referring to , may want to get batteries tested, on that model the inside fuse box itself were known to come apart internally ,fuse box would have to be replaced if that was the case , that is the 2 things that come to mind on a 99 model
