ive had the drilled slotted rotors. I tow my 9800 lb camper in the mountains .... Honestly if its for a DD or occasional use truck and occasional tow, sure. if you tow every weekend, skip these. Im on my 3rd set of rotors replaced under warranty twice. once the fronts go ( rears already taken off) , Im done w/ em.
Well, they've been on for a couple of weeks. So far so good. I only tow heavy (10k) about three to four times a year. I did end up having to change my front rotors as my driver front locked up on me heading to Florida. Should have done it when I changed the pads and rotors. Looking back on it and remembering the shape they were in I know better and should have just replaced them at the same time.
