I finally got around to mounting a 2012 F250 nose onto my 1999 1/2 F250. I was waiting till I got everything painted but due to a deer accident I was forced to do it sooner.I had a 2007 nose conversion on my truck before the deer decided to kiss my truck at 50Mph.I also aready installed the newer mirrors, running boards, emblems and rims n tires a year ago.The 2012 nose install was alittle tricky but I'm really handy and made everything happen and look good. Here some pics if the links works. Its pics of my 99 f250 with 07 nose before accident and after with 2012 nose installed unpainted.

Today I installed the Factory stock front 2012 chrome tow hooks. It wasnt a direct bolt in but I made it happen. They're bolted to the stock bolt holes on the chassis.

Ok here is some install pics.

This is why I decide to install the 2012 nose sooner then later.A deer kissed my truck at 50Mph and killed my 2007 nose.It also broke my shaft on the steering gear box.The shaft that the pitman arm mounts to so I also had to change my steering gear box too.

Heres the broken steering gear box...

Here a side view of the damage...

I started pulling off the damaged parts and I have a 10ton portapower to get the radiator support back to shape..

I started by mounting the new hood hinges (2011-12 hinges).I had to cut off the antenna mount on the passenger side and oblong the mount hole to move the hinge more towards the front.I reused the old hood to hinge bolts and I had to use washers between the hood and hinge to raise it slightly.
Next I started mounting the drivers side fender. The bottom(behind tire) bolts lined up like old fender. On the top in the door jamb I used a 5/16 self tapping screw and a fender washer.

And then I did the same thing On the passenger side.

Ok here is the first ugly part of it.This is where everyone cringes.I had to cut off the top portion of the front of the chassis where the old bumper mounts to make the grille fit.I Know! I know! this is not something everyone wants to do but if you look at the 2008-2012 f250-f350's the front bumper is mouinted in the front only by the tow hooks bracket which is only bolted on.Anyway heres the pics...

Next I cut out radiator support to make room for the headlights and for the lower headlight/grille mounting bracket. Again scary to do.Another guy that did this same conversion just mounted the headlights directly to the metal without cutting or installing the lower headlight/Grille support but i dont know what holds the bottom of his grille.

Next but Alittle out of order cause I must of did this before the bottom support. I installed the upper aluminim bracket support that the hood latch mounts to.I dont have a good close picture of it but if you look close you can see it.The upper bracket support i bought new.I had to cut the ends off by a foot each end to make it fit.The hood latch (2011-12 new latch) mounts directly to the support, again I reused the old mounting bolts and the old hood latch cable.I mounted this aluminim upper support with latch to the trucks upper radiator support with long self tapping screws.I also had to space the latch hook that mount on the hood but not much. Then the plastic upper grille support mounts to the upper aluminim latch support with a screw and plastic clips.

Sorry I dont have a better pic but if you look close under the hood you'll see the upper support mounted to the truck upper radiator support.

Next I have one pic of what i did next. I was so focused on the project I forgot to take more pics.Anyway in this pic if you look at the top right where the fender is against the side of the radiator support I had to grind the lump of metal that was on the rad support so the fender sits in more closer to support.
Next if you look down alittle from the same right side i fab'd a bracket to mount the fender to the trucks support (its just painted black in the pic)
Next I test fitted the driverside headlight. Now the headlight mounts with two prongs on the fender and 3 bolts, one on the bottom right of pic the black pastic insert nut thats on the fender and the two black square plastic nuts that on the lower plastic headlight/grill support I mounted earlier.

I did resuse the original 1999.5 plastic fender wells.I had to trim the back part of them (behind the wheels) to the contour of the fender.I unbolted the wheelwell and had to fight with it alittle to tuck it behind the new fender lip but it went.then I bolted the well back onto the truck.
