I have a 1999 7.3 powerstroke and if I cycle the key like 5 times it’ll build up enough pressure to start then it’ll idle rough and blows out enough white smoke to fill the neighborhood then it’ll bog down and die And the fuel bowl has so much pressure you can open it and it’ll try to spit fuel out fill tube and when you do get bowl open it’s only 3/4 full and I just put a new fuel pump cause I thought that was the problem also sometimes it’s black smoke sometimes blue most the time it’s white

WoW! That's all over the place, sounds like you have more than One thing going on maybe...

So first, what is "cycling the key" all about? Is this for the WTS light? (forget That if it is)

Next, How are you diagnosing Fuel Pressure? Do you have Pressure Readings or just a big guess? ;)

What's the weather like where you are? Did it just turn much Colder?
