I made the of getting a parts store rss. Put the 3rd one in know.
Where can I get one that doesn't go out in 2 months and my powerstroke likes?

1996 f250 powestroke rear speed sensor keeps going out.

Get the Motorcraft ones they work the best from what I've seen.

Do u know a good place to get them. I try to avoid the dealership as much as I can.
Advanced auto has one listed, depends on if your nearby stores stock them but even if they don't they almost always have them at nearby hubs which takes about a day to get it depending on when you place the order

They all suck. Ill only put ford sensors in. Check riffraff
The Motorcraft sensor is ford certified though

It starts freaking out above 65. Jumping from 70 to 50 Then it get worse. Starts freaking out at 60. Then at 55.
Replaced it on Warranty. Did the same thing after 1.5 months. Have the third one in.
The sensor is a simple coil of wire around a magnet core -- kind of like a light bulb -- either works or does not -- ohm the sensor

one other thing: it could be the wire back at the rear end -- moves around a lot -- may have broken copper inside

Make sure the sensor is also fully seating in the rear end housing. I'm assuming there is no evidence of the sensors being "wiped" by the tone ring, is that correct? Cheers!
