ive had this project since 05. ive farted around with it for a while, using different frames,
different engines, but I now have a game plan!

when I purchased this ride, the front of the unibody was rusted out beyond repair.
I cut out the floor and installed a floor from a scrap truck I had back in the day.

I purchased a 89 F350 to use the rear of the cab on my 87 6 door project.
so I had a spare frame.
I chopped it down to make the wheel base correct for the chero.
now its got a d-60 and 10.25 with 4:10's

yesterday I did the front body mounts.
today I instaslled the engine and ZF5 with a 1356, but im having issues with my front driveshaft.
ill get that resolved soon.

I was going to run my ATS 093, but since 1/2 the engine is in the cab, im gonna have to twin turbo this block.
not in the near future or anything, for now the name of the game is to get it running, then I can tweek it and turbo it.

so here are some prelim pics.

hoping to draw more of a crowd to the freaks like me that love the IDI.

this has been a project ive wanted to get on for a while now, over 2 years ago, I wanted to finish it, but twins happened, and forced me to build my last 2 trucks.
now I have 3 6 door vehicles, my mandatory projects are done!
now I can play!
since this has sat forever, ive decided to bang it out.
ive got a Sd hydroboost set up for it,
ordered a wiring harness
fuel lines
and a buncha other little stuff.
but the engine and trans are in!
soon as I get my transfer issue worked out I can have a rear driveshaft made, and then a bit of metal work and she should be ready!

well heres the deal.
and I want to apologize to the ppl here.
you guys have been helpful.
I greatly appreciate it.

ive decided not to continue this build thread.
im not a needy man, but when you become a "lifetime supporting member"
I fully expect to beable to post threads and help people out with pictures,
because I, for one, need a visual aid.
well I only have 2 build threads here, and ive eaten up all my data.
I don't want to go back through all of my 500+ post and delete build thread pics to beable to post another pic.

and I don't want yet another "account" through a 3rd party hosting company.

if you wish to continue following my build, I will continue this on the best IDI site in the world.
I am in no way shape or form, a part of the logistics of this site, just a member.
and its a great place.

That looks awesome. Sucks about the pictures. Have you tried to upload pics using tapatalk? I used to have issues with data but now I don't. I have no idea what happened.

I don't go on forums on my phone.
too hard to see.
it is what it is, not like I can change it, many other places to post build threads,
until something changes....

I love the twin turbo set up, your imagination and fabrication skills make for some pretty cool results.
