Driving from Columbus, Ohio to Miami, Fl to get me a NEW TOY!

My new toy weighs in probably around 8k-9k pounds...

What are some things I should do to make sure the trip goes well? Also what are some things I should bring with me?
Any tips?

Here are some pics of the new toy!

I second the tools....and did I mention tools?

ALSO, bring ratchet straps and bunji cords, and of course duck tape. Like everyone said above, make sure the trailer is in good towing order, bearings, lights, tires, air pressure, winch. But you may find you need to tie down stuff on the boat while towing that far. Pull over after 50 miles and check over the boat, make sure there isn't anything flapping in the wind. That will ruin stuff in a hurry.

Enjoy your ride, over the road and on the water!!!!

Does the trailer have a spare? If not, stop and get a cheap one at any tire store, its kinda like a gun, rather have one and not need it than need it and not have one :thumb:
