Is this conversion possible w.o weldings or excessive cuttings. My friend wants to do this really badly.

I don't really see where welding would come into play, or any cutting really.

You'll need an e4oD trans adapter, motor mounts and then you'll have to do your own wiring for the starter, alternator and other little things.

12V Cummins

A buddy of mine dropped a 12v cummins from an early 90's Dodge 4X4 into his '72 F-250 4X4. Required a but of fabracation, but nothing too heavy. Just motor mounts Crossmember, driveshafts, and exhaust. So it can be done. took him about a month of working nites and weekends. I would show photos, but I am not at home right now, and won't be for a few months.

what about converting a 1977 f-250 gas to a cummins, anybody got an idea?
Talk to Rocky, he owns Rockin' S Performace in Colorado. He dropped a 12v into a 1977 f-350 x-cab. The conversion looks stock and runs like a top. I think his screen name on here is rockin' s performance.
