I just did this job and the t-50 torx bolts are installed with locktite. I was swapping between two trucks, so I had double the work.
They were a bear to get out. I worked them back and forth with some pb blaster but heat would have helped a lot.
I have heard prices vary if you have the step included or not. 250-500 bucks from what I have seen.
Will the latch assy out of my 2000 work with the 2008 and up tailgates and the square 2008 handle? also will the top plastic molding from the 2000 work or do I need to get a 2008 and up molding, Thanks for any info....
I bought an 04 350 that had a cab fire. I bought it basically for the front and rear ranchhand bumpers and the bed. But it has a lift and nice wheels with a set of Mickey Thompson tires that are 50 percent or better wondering if anyone has ever put a used lift on their truck
Does anyone know what the torque requirements on the connecting rod "bolts" for the late model 7.3's are with the PMRs? I've got a service manual for the early 7.3's with forged rods, but it says to torque the "nuts" down to 53 then 80 ft lbs. They switched fasteners when they switched the rod...
I have an 02 w/auto I've pulled a lot of spare parts off for troubleshooting my 00 w/6spd in the future if needed. Would keeping the pcm off the 02 auto be of any use if the 00 w/6spd pcm would happen to fail?
