08+ Super Duty Tailgates

Planning a trip to San Diego this weekend (Oct 12) if anyone is interested I can bring one of these with me.

All you need to install these on any 99-07 is the driver side hinge (dealer part no 4L3Z-83430B39-AA )

You can also easily swap the key tumbler from your old gate so your key will still work.

I'm considering shipping but it kind of kills the deal. It would be ~$150 not to mention the packaging to ensure safe delivery would be a huge hassle.

Do you still have the white tailgate and where are you located? I am located in Tulare county (lower central valley)

All gates are still available.

I got more gates. Updated the origional post. I put my personal tailgate up for sale because I want an excuse to put the step/camera tailgate on my truck. But I have to sell my black one first. It's only been on my truck for about 6 months.

Well I looked into shipping and it isn't as terrible as I thought, at least for the gates without the step and handle. The dark grey gate is significantly heavier and pushes it into a new classification because the drivers can't carry over 75lbs. Also it cannot be delivered to a residence. Shipping is a lot more on that one, but it may be worth it to somebody.

I'm still worried about the gates getting damaged during transport, but I guess that's what insurance is for. I would wrap them with a couple layers of bubble wrap and then cover them in cardboard and tape them up tight. I should be able to get them to most places for $150-200. Businesses are better.
