I have an 08 f250, sc 4x4 with 4" lift, 107k mi. otherwise completely stock.The last 2 weeks it has been making a roaring noise like a fan running all the time. The last three days it has shown hot a couple times and the Degas tank was nearly empty,but no sign of leaking. It has also started to cut out when first taking off, so I replaced the fuel filter last nite. Today it made it one block and cut out and died. I restarted it, reved it a lil and it died again and would not turn over. only click. I have tried to jump it, put the batts on the charger. I put the charger in 75 amp start mode and got it to turn over but very slow and labored. Put in a used starter, no change. there are no flashing lights in dash or cel. I have not hooked up to code reader because i see no warning lights on dash. I checked the oil and it looked like it had an extra gallon in it. I drained it and refilled and new filter. Please help.
