I've got an annoying problem that I can't figure out. It is on two different trucks and feels the exact same. Trucks are '08 F250 (5.4L gas) and '06 F350 (6.0L diesel).
The truck is stationary and I ease into the accelerator I feel this flexing/bumping that feels like something is binding. The harder the pull the more it shudders. Opposite on braking. Right before the truck settles I feel the same thing. Seems that when the suspension twists up or down it isn't smooth. Rides fine on the highway.
Trucks have 88,000 and 129,000 so it could be anything and is likely the same component on both. I've heard of carrier bearings causing this but could be shocks etc.
Anybody out there experienced this?
