Hey boys and girls. Here's the deal. My stock turbo used to push 32psi easily, now I can't get more than 20 on a good day and with that obviously comes high EGT. I can't even pull a small boat without defueling in the hills. The truck isn't really driven hard, so it's not noticeable when you drive it like a sane person. Is there something electrical to check (VGT solonoid?) or is the mechanism sticking inside the housing? I've read the '06 and under turbos were known for this.

Anything so can save myself the agony of another visit to the dealership.. it would be much appreciated!

Also check the pipes for leaks that is also a common problem.:thumb:
Bingo! Found a 3/4" crack in the black charge pipe right after the intercooler. Ordering a new one tomorrow! Why didn't I think of that?
