I've searched high an low and still can not find the blower motor resistor pack as i have the blower only work on high problem. Am i on the rite track here searching for blower motor resistor or what and where should i be lookin for? Any pics of resistor location would be great! Thanks much. Truck is 06 f250 lariet with auto temp.

The part with the square decal on it should be what you are needing. Pic came from an 06 with auto climate control. Good luck with it.

You have electronic automatic temp control which uses a blower motor speed controller. Manual temp control uses a resistor. Both are located in the same general area. Under the hood on the passenger side near the firewall. It's behind the A/C accumulator and I believe you have to unbolt it and position it aside to access the controller.

Thanks guys! i been searchin and can only find pics of the resistor lookin pack. I pulled that gadget with the sticker out and it has some heat lookin fins on it so i put it back in. I will change it and hope thats my prob. I also looked on some parts sites and typed in my truck to get a pic and it always shows the resistor pack, SO, one more thing.... Is this somethin i gotta get from ford or any suggestions where to get one? Thanks again guys!

Auto climate is ford only. I just replaced mine last week

I would trust a Ford part over a parts store piece. Any chance of a used one? Any automotive "recyclers" in your area? BTW, the fins you saw are part of the heat sink that keeps it from melting down.

I just changed mine out, same year and model. Its a real pain the _____ to get to the bottom screw. I picked it up at Sunrise Ford in S. Cal for $70. Did a search on this site is how I found the part #. Have fun with it.
