Just bought a 6.0, this is my first diesel truck to my name. I have worked on tractors and big rigs but this is different with the few emissions and sensors not typically on a tractor or a rig.
I need some guidance trying to figure out why with the engine off but key in run my SCT data logger shows 49.85 psi for the Engine Gas Backpressure. I changed the sensor and cleaned the tubing and it's the same. The turbo was recently rebuilt by the previous owner with a balanced single plane rotor assembly which sounds like a jet is taking off when you actually get it to drive (my favorite thing).
When you barely drive it the pressure goes up to 100psi and the truck prevents itself from going faster than 1000 RPM.
2006 F250
6.0
Heads and studded
Blue spring kit
Oil cooler replace a year ago
EGR deleted
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
