Bought an 05 6.0 bulletproofed stage 2 trans with tune new turbo and injectors with max custom tune tracs bars ect ect
The tune is an ecm tune so I was wondering if I could plug a monitor into the obd2 without messing that tune would love live data though and what upgrade would u recommend for a turbo and not returing just a ww or ? Everything is pushed the max makes 40psi now breaks tires loose in first second and usually the beginning of 3rd tires are 50% not bald its a single cab long bed very fast now but just want alittle more

Word of advice… download ForScan for your phone and do some monitoring before you jump in to tuning. Basically you want to make sure the EOT/ECT delta is in spec as well as ICP psi, FICM voltage, and check. I would be concerned about a turbo making 40 psi in a 6.0 bulletproofed or not.

Its already tuned i just want to know if plugging and monitor into the obd2 will mess with the tune it has at all
It will not…

I use an Edge CTS2. Good permanently installed monitor so I can see what’s what at all times. Advice on ForScan still stands. Dealer level diagnostic software for super cheap. If you just bought that truck, it’ll dig deep to see what is happening with the PCM/TCM/GEM, etc.

Here are the links:

Gonna own a diesel, you need to be able to get codes and monitor the system when there is a problem

These should be mandatory for any 6.0
Fuel pressure gauge -- M12x1.5 thread adapter
Base oil pressure gauge -- test port on front of oil cooler housing 9/16x18 imperial o-ring fitting

I suggest downloading ForScan and using the OBDLink MX+ or the BAFX adapter for troubleshooting
Torque Pro would be good for everyday use with an old phone or tablet
Scan Gauge is small and simple -- can be mounted in front of the instrument cluster
there are other monitors, but the price goes higher - Edge and SCT

you do not need the license for troubleshooting

OBDLink® MX+ - Outstanding Bluetooth-Compatible OBD II Scan Tool -- Bluetooth - advanced CAN protocols
OBDLink® EX - OBD2 Adapter For ELM327 & FORScan -- USB corded
BAFX Products® - Wireless Bluetooth OBD2 Reader / Scanner for Android Devices -- Bluetooth

haha, doing goon 💩 ... being this cool will cost money my guy, pay the tech what he needs and save up for the next thing you break.

While on the topic here, what exactly are upgraded internals?

Posts 6 and 7… guessing you didn’t take the advice? And yeah tell us more about the build. Lastly, punctuation. Throw some periods and commas in there. No disrespect intended.
@Heavy_GD ”Goon💩”… thank you for that lol
