hello everyone

I'm fairly new to this forum i belong to this and FTE but feel like people in this forum know more and are more trustworthy and care more lol

well down to business my trucks front pinion yoke bolts where a pane in the rear to get out got 3 of 4 out and the 4th is being a worse pain then the others on top of that the u joint caps will not come out. so instead of replacing the whole front drive shaft i want to replace just the inner shaft from a downer vehicle and then buy a new pinion yoke but i need help with the type of dana 60 front end dif i have when looking to buy the new yoke its asking wether i have 1310 1330 or 1350 i know i have bolt and strap design and u bolt and nut design but I'm trying to figure out the schematics. so basic info of my truck i have a 2004 f350 6.0 xlt with WB 142 axel code D1. if anyone can help me out figure out which yoke i need that would be great. thanks guys.

Just call Randy's ring and pinion out of WA state, there were many variations over the years, those guys will steer you correct.

Got it figured it out the front end is 1350 thank you for you help

Okay now their is some issues the pinion bolt will not for the life of the thing come off I have no idea what to do now I feel like I tried everything help!!!

you need an impact to take it off

You need to use a torque multiplier wrench or a BFPB. (Big F.... Pry Bar). They are torqued to around 400ft/lbs.

Got it off a put the pry bar resting on the swat bar by the link and put her in reverse worked exactly as I thought it would while praying the pinion wouldn't snap lol
