This is what the truck did last week. I was driving to town and lost all throttle. I put it to the floor and nothing. It was just at idle. I put in N and coasted into a side street. It died, crank no start. I changed out ICP last summer. I tested FICM 48 volts with key on and 48 while cranking. So that leads me to my next?? Should I change out the IPR(picked up at local stealership for 290$. Or am I missing something any help would be greatful. BTW I found no codes using a Matco scaner. is that a good scaner?

Also I can not find a 1 3/8 socket to get the IPR out. nobody in this area has one that size 1 1/4 is the biggest. I contacted Snap-on they have one. any ideas on how to rig a open ended wrench?

Just going by what people told me I should replace. Now I know they were giving me a line of crap. I replace ICP because it was leaking oil. IPR I pulled and replaced because female part of plug was loose as a goose in the housing. I have no way to check sync. Now from what replaced As far as IPR was a waste of money! still no start. I am at a complete loss and Am thinking its either FICM of HPOP but don't want to keep replacing parts that are still good. This just sucks and at the point of just giving up and selling as is. I dont' want to but Can't keep going the way it going!

This is what I posted engine diagnostics section

'03 6.0L Crank no start

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have already changed ICP out Checked voltage on FICM 47.4 Volts w/key on and same while cranking. I went ahead a picked up a IPR at the dealership. I was thinking that may be it. I was thinking of sending my FICM into ficmrepair.com to rebuild it and have PHP Atlas 40 tune put on it. Has anyone used this company? If so is it worth the 475$ Any pointers? Am I on the right track?

you are going to need a device capable of reading manufacturer specific codes and viewing parameters like icp, ipr duty cycle, ficm sync...
auto enginuity or scanguage2 are popular choices
