Hey all Just got home from towing my Uncles Yukon back to our shop after it broke down at a rest area, while loading it at the rest area I notice a small puddle of oil under my truck and popped the hood and noticed some oil in the Valley but couldn't spot the leak, it was more wet than puddling in the valley. I did check the dipstick and it was just above the add mark. Well as we were coming down my road the truck started to stumble and when turning into the driveway it died had to crank it for a few seconds but it did restart enough to get it into the shop and it was did puddle, I also did notice that there was a film on the tailgate. So I figure it killed and ran rough cause the oil is low and it was having trouble building pressure to fire the injectors, Question is did I cause engine damage having the oil that low or is the engine stalling out a fail safe of sorts to prevent damage? I'm hoping its ok as its my personal truck not a work truck:( Thanks fellas
