i have a 2001 ford 7.3L with a ts chip on it loaded with tonywild man tunes. I am loosing fuel pressure under wot on the extreme tune(down to 15lbs) is this a sign of a weak fuel pump or could it be in my return spring? i have a 70lb spring in my truck.
I just bought a dieseloring.com fpr housing ( Fuel Pressure Relief housing - Billet Aluminum w/pressure shim springs ) and was wondering what is the ideal pressure for a stock truck? all i really have done is a custom tune and an 6637 intake for now but read about ppl suggestion diffrent...
Whats happening gents:
Tomorrow I will install the Riffraff Diesel Fuel Rail Cross-over kit on my E99 in attempt to get rid of dead head and engine cackle.
The kit comes with three different springs to insert into the fuel pressure regulator. Silver=58-61 psi, Gold=62-65 psi, Black=67-70...
Is anybody running the gillette diesel spring that replaces the stock fuel pressure spring in the pump housing. Its more durable and raise the fuel pressure in the rail. heres a link
what do you guys think.
