Just throwing it out there I found a cheap high quality fpr for the e fuel conversion. It's made by kirban. Here is a link to one. Mustang Kirban Fuel Pressure Regulator Race Version Billet Adjustable EFI 1986-2004 | CJ Pony Parts It is diesel rated and their stuff is great quality If anyone's...

DISCLAIMER: THIS IS PRACTICALLY AN ESSAY EXPLAINING MY CURRENT SITUATION 2003 F350 7.3 with 187k on it. A few months back, i had the common fuel leak, which i had originally fixed by myself with the Diesel 0-ring Kit. Problem solved. A few weeks later, I parked at an Advance Auto to pick up a...
  3. 6.0 Motor problems
Ok so I've had my 03 6.0 since May of 2014, (love it). While I've owned the truck, I've done the FPR spring upgrade (early December) and replaced both filters with Motorcraft OEM as of yesterday! My glowshift FP gauge reads 55-60 PSI at idle and 45 PSI at heavy acceleration; (I don't even wanna...
  4. 6.0 Motor problems
Alright i have an 05 6.0 and it has started leaking fuel at the fuel pressure regulator. I replaced the keyhole oring because the one in it was junk. This stoped the leak for a few days but it has started back again. I havent had a chance to look to see if the oring i just put in it has somehow...

So I did the fpr mod with a BB and I'm not sure i like it. I can't tell anything other then a little more smoke and the fact that it acts weird. It seems like it starts worse then it did before. My OSI went from 52-71. Should i just take it out and say forget about it and just wait for my e fuel?
  6. General Diesel Discussion
I have a 2002 7.3. I started to do the bb trick to the FPR and i noticed a part of the instructions that gets pretty vague. It says to simply put a bb behind the spring. Do you put the bb on the side closest to the fuel bowl or the side closest to the line connecting to the regulator? Hopefully...

Just wanted to ask..... Has anyone experianced any issues with the FPR blue spring upgrade? I had one installed when I had my #4 injector replaced and my pressure is all over the map I will have 40-50 one min and 0 another then to 30 and so on I just put a used pump that was pushing correct...
  9. 99-03 7.3 Motor Problems
Please tell me someone has done the research and found a replacement for the small hard plastic poppet seat on the fuel pressure regulator? It just seems a shame to buy the Ford Rebuild kit for what should be a $3 part. Any suggestions on who might offer this aftermarket?

The switch to the right of the FPR: It was going drip, drip, drip. Apparently it's a common problem, but I couldn't find it my Ford service manual, couldn't find it on, and Car Quest couldn't find it either. So maybe this post will help help some poor bass turd, not unlike...
