History
Ordered new in May 2002. Currently has 39,060 one-owner, adult miles. Towed 5th wheel camper across the state 5 times for summer jobs and a couple of weeks at a lake. I've always had another vehicle to use for everyday stuff, so this truck has only been used when a pickup box or trailer hitch was required. Zero performance modifications. Original batteries and tires (and they look and function just fine). Started up and driven regularly over the years. Never just "parked" or stored.
Undercarriage rusty. Oil pan rusty.
Everything works. Truck starts, runs and drives. Never in an accident or flood, etc.
Looking to sell as I don't want to pay to have engine removed for oil pan replacement. Body and interior are showroom except for a minor 5th wheel hitch ding inside top edge of tailgate. Tailgate closes and locks just fine
Perfect for another guy who wants an '02 7.3 engine, manual transmission, 4x4, crew cab, etc or to use it as a donor parts truck. No hidden problems. No lies or cover-ups. It is as described. Always had towels on the cloth seats, so interior is like new. Carpet delete option means there's a rubber floor in this XLT. I also ordered the dual alternator option for charging camper batteries going down the road. This truck is a time capsule. Didn't expect to ever have to buy another truck, but a rusted brake line this Spring (which I replaced) showed me that it's simply time to buy a newer truck.
