1988 Chevy V-10 Blazer (AKA K-5) (Medium grey metallic w/ Black two-tone)
True 383 Stroker with Scat 400 crank. Flat-top .030 over pistons(making displacement literally a 396), B&B Stef's Deep oil pan, Comp Cams adjustable timing chain set, Comp Cams extreme offroad cam & lifters /w dual valve springs, Edelbrock Throttle body EFI intake, Holley 670 Throttle body Injection, Profesional Products 8" 400SBC Harmonics Dampener, Stock heads modded for valve spring clearance for now until I can decide what heads will be best. Shorty Headers & Rotating Assy Externally balanced by MotorReco in Pasadena,TX. Assembled by me.
Removed all carpet. Rhino lined entire inside. Re-routed wiring outside of cab along frame-rail. Custom bucket seats on original seat perches. front. Stock bench rear.
I took out Pioneer head unit to put in another Blazer to sell it. So, now I need another to replace. (2) 3.5" Clarion coaxials in the dash /w hi-pass crossover caps. (2) 6.5" Clarion coaxials in custom door panels /w mid-pass crossover caps. (2) 6X9" Clarion coaxials running full pass in custom boxes on wheel well humps in rear seat area. (2) Planet Audio 10" DVC subs in BandPass Box with all amps., caps and fuse blocks mounted for easy removal to wash out mud after playing.
7" total. 3" body lift. 4" blocks in rear (for now until I can install rear shackle flip then I will remove blocks). Modded Shackle mounts up front to keep soft ride springs & "bump steer" down. (Eventually going with Dana 44 /w flat top spindles for crossover steering & 4-link /w coil-overs).
