Well I ordered a jumpbox today, off amazon. Newer company, $100 cheaper than noco's right now. Snatched one up. Learned about it from a YouTube diesel mechanic I watch off and on. Hopefully it works and lasts.

I thought I've read that these jump boxes can fry our ecm and ficm's?

Is that just for Chevy parts, because it might've been when I was trying to get a 6.5 going..

And I do realize that a jump box is sometimes a necessity, but... If it's not as dangerous as people have made out, I'd be more inclined to use them.
