These lines are to replace the typical high mileage expensive leaky OEM HPOP lines that have the STC fittings. Kit comes with 2 hoses and all necessary fittings to eliminate the quick connect fittings (STC) on the heads and the HPOP itself. Advanced HPOP lines with DuPont Teflon™ lining. Burst pressure rating of 16,000psi and working temperature rating of 400*F Nominal working pressure is 5000psi @ 72*F and 3000psi @ 400*F Kit comes with Genuine Parker Triplelok™ fittings High quality Viton™ o-rings MADE IN THE USA IN OUR SHOP INSTALLATION: Disconnect the battery grounds before installation to avoid accidentally arc'ing the line on the glow plug relay or the alternator charging lug. Use pictures from the product webpage for routing example. The fittings are marked "4" for passenger head and "3" for driver head. After installation, be sure there is no other lines/wires that are touching the lines that could potentially rub through and damage either the HPOP line or the other line that may be touching it. Use a small section of wire loom protector or a larger piece or rubber hose to wrap around the contact point. Many will remove or bend the engine eyelet on the driver side as a precaution, but it is not necessary. Sealant is not necessary, but IF you choose to use any, use Loctite 680 or Permatex 64000 retaining compound (green) only on the fittings installed in the HPOP. If you are unsure of installing yourself, seek out a competent and qualified technician to install the lines. HOSE IDENTIFICATION: SD 2 LINE-BOTH SIDES ARE SAME LENGTH. OBS 2 LINE- PASSENGER IS LONGER OF THE 2. **FOR ANY 3 LINE KIT THE SHORTEST LINE IS THE CROSSOVER HOSE. FITTING MARKINGS: 1- FRONT PUMP PORT 2- REAR PUMP PORT 3- DRIVER HEAD 4- PASSENGER HEAD 5- CROSSOVER Pump Fittings: 28FT/LBS • Head Fittings: 23FT/LBS • Hose Ends: 21FT/LBS *REMOVE THE SPRING CHECKS IN THE PUMP UNDER THE STOCK FITTINGS* NOTICE: We know it may be cheaper for those wanting to save some money and have a local hydraulic shop make lines, but in our 20yrs experience, it is not advisable due to the amount of thermal cycling and engine sees. Normal hydraulic is meant for normal hydraulic use, NOT on the engines. See pictures of what happens to our competitor lines. Dry rot and blistering of the hose. We have sold over 10,000 kits.

      Part numbers for the high pressure oil hoses on top of the engine, any o rings that I would need to change the hoses out. Are there 3 of them or 2?

      Also the o rings needed to change out for the Turbo pedestal.

      Anything I should change out while I am doing all of this?

      Engine is just about to roll over to 200,000 miles.

      Skip replacing the two hpop lines and the four hpop end fittings. Overly complicated part for the hpop lines. CNCFAB LLC made a nice simple design replacement kit thats 50% of the cost and with 1/4 of the extra parts. Very common upgrade for the 7.3l. Been running mine trouble free for years!

      Corey who owns cncfab llc is also a forum member and well versed in the 7.3l hence he started his business years ago.

      if you want to buy fords look at riffraff diesel performance and or dieselorings but you'll have to order two hoses and 4 end pieces for around $300+ after shipping. Also dont just take my word for it. Research cncfabs hpop line kit for yourself and you'll see its a common swap when the oem ones leak/fail.

      What is the difference between

      The HPX line is not factory, and it helps keep the pressure more consistent between the two heads. We have a kit that includes all three lines for a bit less money when purchased together.

      Just gonna give you the cold hard truth those will fail in short order.... This is the kit you will be buying soon. CNC Fabrication Early 99-03 7.3L Replacement HPOP lines - 7.3-SD-HPOP-LK

      Again don't want to bash your hard work but those EXACT ebay lines will fail you sooner than later. They just can't take the intense cycles from the hpop. But once the noise is clarified we can address the hose issue etc

      I wonder if I could just buy the hoses and use the same fittings:unsure:
