[Heat Up the Engine] In the cold winter, use these two engine heater pads before starting the car to bring the oil to the right temperature and thus reduce oil consistency, which will lubricate the engine better and reduce its wear. [Easy to Use] Clean off any grease or grime on the bottom of your oil pan or transmission fluid pan. Peel off the paper backing from the heater.       just a comment, as my injectors don't like it at freezing temperatures with 15w40 oil.

      so, I ordered a pair of oil pan heaters that I will route to a place up front, so I can flip a switch and turn on the Block heater, and both oil pan heaters.


      Oil Pan Heaters - Permanently Mounted

      Do NOT put these heaters on a Battery, at 194*F they will melt the battery case.

The oil is a bit thick even with having it plugged in and a space heater underneath it. Could this be a cause of the oil (15w-40) being too thick from the cold and not flowing properly or is my lpop bad. And how could I check if the lpop is going back or if it even has oil in it. From my knowledge the Hpop and lpop are oem from factory.

      the heater is right by the oil cooler and filter so wouldn’t it heat up the oil in there? And I have a separate heater on the actual pan itself. My main concern is if I should add oil to my Hpop since it’s empty and try starting it
