How to fit 2016+ wheel hub covers on my 2008?

I have an 08 with stock wheels and 275/70/R18 tires that will need replaced by next year probably. I'm finding alot of 2016+ F-250 and 350 18" and 20" wheel/tire combos for sale for $400-$600. They have very few miles on them. So I figured I would just buy a set of those stock take-offs since it would be cheaper than new tires, and I would get some nicer wheels as a plus. I want to stay similar to oem size since I tow alot and want to keep good mpg. They are all 8 x170mm lug pattern so I should be good to go there.

My question is, they have a lot of different styles of wheel hub covers. The rears shouldn't be a problem, but do the newer ford hub covers fit our older 08 style hubs? I attached pics of what type of hubs I have. I attached a couple of examples that show the different type of hub covers. Or do you just not run any hub/lug nut covers? Just want to make sure they would bolt right up to my 08 fine. Thanks!

Yeah they look like they would fit. And the back hub caps would just mimic the look of the real front hubs with the opening in hub caps. I was just wondering if anybody had tried them out on a 6.4l generation truck to make sure they do fit.

I think you need to use the newer ('17+),closed end, lug nuts for those caps. I think

Oh, so if I buy a set, make sure to get the oem lugnuts from the seller too? Most of them come with lug nuts...which I'm guessing are the same thread/pitch as my 08? But that's just for 2017 and above? That's crazy...haven't seen/owned any vehicles where the lugnuts hold the hub cover on.

May be a dumb question, but will the 275/65/R20 wheels/tires fit on my truck without any rubbing? Going from 275/70/R18, it will increase diameter by 1", with the same width. I imagine it would fit no problem but just wanted to check.

That is a stock 08 tire size for 20"
You'll be ok
