Drop Receiver Recommendations

Trucks getting ready to get a 10" lift and 40"s. I do have a 3500lb dump trailer I occasionally pull and a 16' utility trailer but nothing to crazy. Who makes a good drop receiver for that high of a lift? I don't just want to get a cheap one and have it snap as that could be a bad day! Never had to look for one for this much lift before.

A buddy of mine swears by this one. He drives a Duramax so it's probably overkill for his truck! No relation to Bulletproof Diesel!

LMAO I'll check them out. Unfortunately the Bro's promote a lot of stuff that a lot of people one here most likely had before they screwed up the mentality people have about lifted diesels... Priuses run from me already for some reason and I don't even blow smoke on them!!!

This has a step and you can get the integrated mudflap setup. The mudflaps easily slide out if you don't want to run them or take your truck to a show.

It also lowers down the electrical trailer plug. Right behind the receiver on the back side is where the trailer plug is re-routed.

They even make a step that plugs into the hitch when you are not towing. So you can step up that and then step on the top of the hitch. They are a very nice product and made for guys who have lifted trucks. There isn't anything out there that has what these have.

You can see the step in the hitch on the last two pictures.

Man do you work for one up? LOL That does look like a sturdy setup for sure. I'll look into that one as well.

Look up Gen-Y hitches, they are nice. I've got two 10 inch drop hitches from Diversi-Tech, one for my OBS and 6.4. They are nice too, especially the way they lock and adjust. Next one if I ever need will be the Gen-Y.

No but I have all this stuff on my personal truck and alot of other OUO stuff LOL. I know you will like them. They are better than anything out there. They are one of those items like AMP steps that you are really happy that you have them....LOL... You can tow whatever you want. You don't have to stretch all your wiring out to reach the plug up near the bumper. I even took my trailer plug and installed it up under the truck so you don't see it. Then all the wiring goes down through the inside of the hitch. It also has hooks down low so the chains can hook right up to the hitch. It has a nice shackle on it to pull on crap...LOL. Then when you are not using it you can use it as a step to get in your truck. Then to top it off you can get the mudflap setup that slides right in the back of it. Then if you want you can just throw the mudflaps in the bed of your truck then when you get pulled over for no mudflaps you can slide them in and drive off...LOL
