What is the name of this power steering hose?

Hello everyone, long-time lurker first time poster from Sooke, BC Canada.

I have a 2000 Ford f-350 with the 7.3 L diesel. Single rear wheel and automatic transmission, four-wheel drive if that is important.

I have developed a leak in my power steering. Upon reading on here it seems very likely that it is the hose that rubs against the shock mount. I was able to run my hands and fingers on it and I definitely feel a deep rub point. So if it fixes the problem or not this hose definitely needs to be replaced.

But I am unsure which hose it is, it seems like there are two high pressure power steering hoses. Could somebody please guide me and tell me which hose to ask for at the parts store?

for reference, this whole is routes up towards behind the master cylinder, I'm assuming that is into the hydroboost. It routes into the left side as I am looking at the engine from the front of the vehicle.

Any help is greatly appreciated. also, I know this is cheap but is it possible to get a piece of rubber and wrap it around the leaking area and hose clamp it on there very tight? I kind of need to get the truck out of where it is sitting.

Thank you again.

Cheers,
Luke

Thanks for the quick reply. I looked online and it lists that part number for gas engines, is this the right one for my diesel truck?

Also, would you know if it is the pump to hydroboost or hydroboost to gear line? That is what my part house is waiting to know.

Thank you again.

Thank you. I was able to pick it up tonight. Hopefully tomorrow I can replace the hose.
